Glad it has been locked up at Matt's this weekend, I have had heaps of home renovations to do and I am sure it would have gotten in the way!

That being said I am looking forward to this weekend and hoping to have it registered for it!

Congrats on the car mate, it'd be a great little thing to drive I'm sure...what was done to it that has stuffed with it? Mechanical dramas or something?

Bloody fuel pumps, are the bane of my existence, and I have not even had the car on the road registered yet!

Time to find a Commodore pump?

I know that there is a surcharge that is going on the bill for that additional service.

You knew unleaded fuel is the new cologne for summer?

I'm sure the little lady loved that taste when you got home and slapped one on her.

Or did you wash it down with enough beer?

Just a thought, is the fuse the correct rating on the pump?

Inching closer to the reality of having this in the driveway at home soon.

There is a great deal of thanks that I need to give Matt, Shannon and Beau for helping me get this car to run properly. It has had a massive amount of stuff required to be done and I am amazed that a car that really has done so little mileage since it was built could find itself in the state it was in.

                          Some highlights include;

Draining 7 litres of oil from the crankcase,
About to install the 4th fuel pump in 2 months,
                          Raising the suspension

I went to the RTA, only problem is that they have to re-issue the plates, so I have to wait for a few weeks for those to be done. I have a set of yellow standard issues on it now.

All in all, if it is not in my driveway tomorrow night I'm going to cry.

(And the current loaner from Camden GTI is a pretty fast beast for what it's worth)

7 Litres?! What, did they try and fill it 'till they could see the oil from the 710 cap hole or something? Haha.

Gees dude some people just shouldn't own cars.

Well there were 2 give aways, first how hard it was to turn over and second the pool of oil that appeared under the car coming from the pod filter...
