i know of some people who've had this type of white wall done and it's stayed white alot longer. front and rear tyres are different and the rears are browner than the front i think maybe the tyre type might have an impact. i dunno. might still be ok.

you can only get a genuine stripe white wall in 75 profile tyres from what i've seen. otherwise i'd just go for genuine ones.

        plates! aw yeah!!

had to have the tyres flipped coz the whitewalls removed all the tyre information.. lame!

thanks r31 crew haha + preen and jarred. orange boot is staying

it's in a bit of a shambles at the moment due to me only being concerned about it passing the inspection and not so much how it looks.

i'm not sure what to do next... bit stuck for direction...

                  13s and wider and lower
or 14s and lower and lower and lower.
the right rims just arent that easy to come by so i'm biding my time and keeping my eyes peeled.

i have a spare bonnet that i want to get sand blasted to bare metal then clear coated and put a rat rod style "workshop" design on it.
like the door on this but the bonnet. obviously being very careful in making sure it doesnt look like an air brushed bonnet. something very subtle

                  maybe... not sure

just ordered some 14 inch flappers as the white walls look crap now. so will run with that for the time being. still awfuly tempted to start collecting parts for an air suspension install. air suspension tucking alot of the whitewall would just make me so happy so we'll see.

I like the Steelies with the dress rims to be honest. Looks tidy.

The faded paint design would be very cool. Do it!

I reckon it looks sweet with the steelies, hub caps and dress rings. If my wheels were that clean I wouldn't be fussed about changing them, unless something rare as hell popped up for a cheap price.

been driving around tonight and gotta say it's a great little car.

photoshop of the hood idea... and the pic was already lowered so i left it.

i think if you did that theme on the hood, it would have to match the rest of the car.

so like the rest of the car would have to be flat paint or patina'd or what ever. I'm not sure it'd work just on it's own.

I do love the concept though. and the wheel/tyre/trim/whitewall combo looks ace too

Please don't make the paint worse than it is! It's too close to clean to make ratty-er.
If it was mine I'd clean it up more, and continue with the restoration direction.
