I changed the carbie with a rebuilt one that has a working choke.

Its not so bad, fits about 30l of the good stuff (9 and should get 300km, ALOT more on the freeway, the needle barly moves.
It just looks like it uses alot because the tank only fits 30L past the red line.

And if you rev it out to over 5000rpm and leg go of the throttle you create a smoke screen like james bond....woot for no cat.

Yeaaaahhh man. I got a carby and a starter so its all good now. Im working on a sterio and getting rid of the rattles now. There is one terrible one coming from the driver side corner of the dash, you can hear it from outside!

i get 380-400km out of a tank regularily, and thats with a 32/36 weber, running very rich on primary, lean on secondary.....and a 5 speed box.

with the standard carb i remember getting 420-440 regularily.
i can only wonder how much better it would be if i had it tunned.....
