my new mk1 golf project

So last night i had a mate come around and spend 4hrs detailing the paint work properly on the car and i must say it looks freakin awesome!!! here are some pics after and before. The pics are at night in my garage but will post some slr pics up soon. OH and i have got the mx5 wheels on it now

Nup sticker is not there at all, if it was i would have used metho or something to wipe paint enough to see

i Have found a few lists on Codes, but none show the green i have or lawny has. So its been a little hard..either that or im damn colour blind :S ahha

Mine is the same but has been resprayed once, and the tag has been sprayed over in boot.

I want to get a touch up can made up so i can touch up some spots till i can get a full spray (years away )

probably just gunna buy some unless i can get some big aircooled ones and adapt them. yeah parcel shelf looks awesome, shagpile carpet suits the interior to a T.

oh.... and i boughht some mk3 steelies for the old girl. think im gunna keep the whole whitewall thing happening but with some moon discs on them. not sure yet?????

i just read it all, and must say that the drop of the car looks fantastic!

i wasnt too optimistic about the roofracks, although when i saw the surf board on top, it looks great! i think as long as you have something up there so its not empty, you should be ACE. the retro looks is a real heard turner man, looking at the front page and the last pic is a real good job.

i also love what you did with the suit cases, great idea bro, kinda jealous i didnt think of it HAHAHAHAAA! and boys you have to love your sound system! cmon

I'm totally in the same boat took the time to read this thread start to finish and it really is a fantastic looking car mate! although, if it were me... i'd drop it on the bump stops I won't be happy til i need to drive mine up on a gutter to get past speed bumps!!!
