    yep - all vw 8V manifolds will fit any other vw 8V head.. however, there is a change in the port shape for some later model 8V heads on the intake ports - things will still mate up and work properly, but intake port shapes may be a bit different (specifically, early ports are oval, late diesel and i think some petrol ones are "D" shaped)

            Haynes has a Weber manual. have a look here.

            Let us know how you get on. I have a DGAV 32/36 that could prob do with a service but I'm not game to do it myself, plus i don't know if I have the patience, or time.

            So i'm gonna get some pro to do it for me when i get around to it. But respect for doing it yourself. Good luck!
