yeah its good to know im doing my little bit for the environment grant
and really am enjoying it so far stan, she ran out of battery on me last night, the old chap had told me it was on its way out but i thought id see how long it had left. came to leave the girlfriends place about four this morning in the freezing cold and heard the dreaded click of a dead battery. luckily we found some jumper leads in her shed and was able to pick up a new heart for her this arvo.
Trying to decide on a set of wheels now, took a trip down to mr mag where they had a feature wall of NOS ronals, but all in the 4x113 size
wheels and coilovers sorted, should be landed by late next week to early week after. Anyone know where i can get my hands on a windscreen seal with the rut for the chrome insert? current ones seen better days.
enjoyed a good few mouthfuls of petrol last night after work, seems as though the fuel pump has given up on me. managed to syphon a cup of fuel out to get in the carb and get a bit of a vacuum started to get me home but once you let it sit she'll give up again. is there a rebuilt kit for these or just as well to just get a new pump?
New pump is cheap as chips.
The diaphrams dry out when not used, so s/h ones are a waste of time.
