one thing though. Personal preference maybe, but I would paint the central bit of the rad support behind the badge black. I think it looks better that way.

After throwing a sizeable curve ball and selling off many parts, I can now report that this Mk1 is running and nearly done, and I am quite happy... Thanks to my mate Matt for sorting out my wiring blunder (!)
Some highlights are much carbon, Porsche red leather, and a 6spd gearbox mated to a rather serious engine
Pics will come as soon as the wheels are finished... because these are the best part!
I have a deadline of the 15th of November to have it on the road and registered, as I'm moving to Melbourne. Sounds far away, but by the time I wade through niggling problems (and various things break, as usual), I'll be cutting it fine
Looking forward to meeting up with some of the Melbourne crew towards the end of the year...
