    i was speeding being a douche racing some idiot with 2 girls in the car...didn't see a small corner hit the gutter ripped the front left out of the whole car. Any bits and pieces are for sale. Pm if your after something that caught your eye in my build thread. I'm glad no one got hurt. Lost my licence for 12 months min because the cops were following me. I'm a complete idiot.

    Ah, mate, that's sh-thouse Good learning curve, though! Glad nobody was hurt - Mk1 Golfs aren't exactly the safest things around either

                    Sorry to read this. Glad you are ok. Not a pleasant way to start off 2009.
                    I hope its a lesson well learnt and that others here will learn from it as well.

                          yeh its a massive lesson to be learned. next time speeding is for the race track and during the day time...i dunno what to think or do its terrible.

                          i think i might get a mk1 diesel but seriously...

                          i was walking away from the accident and thinking then i looked down the and on the foot path was my matte black vw badge...made me smile mide you this was about 100m from the crash... so yes i was hooting...and i'm an idiot for doing it there...or anywhere for that matter

                              Just shows you easy these things happen, there could have been a power pole on that corner... at the end of the day it just isn't worth it.

                              Glad to hear everyone is ok though, i'm sure it is a massive lesson learned and should be to all of us.
