Yeha it seems to be, its annoying cause I couldn't see the lead before hand. I haven't got the car back yet waiting on the Auto Electrician to do one more thing before I pick it up

So a little bit of good news I am now driving the mk1 again

Fault was a shotty wire from the battery to the alternator and a chatty battery aswell!
