Lie on the floor, look up at the waterpump and undoo the 2 10mm bolts that face downwards.

righto, had a fiddle, and flushed the hell out of EVERY single component, and ive had a breakthrough! So, both pipes get hot, and temp peaks at about halfway. Which i beleive a new radiator will fix, as the current radiator is leaking from the bottom left of the core, and the cap leaks. So fingers crossed that will solve my problem! Cheers for all the help guys!

Nice work foolio. The temp should always stay in the middle. Sounds like a new radiator will sort you out. Its a shame you are so far away, I have heaps of em here.sigpic Camden GTI Performance. VW / AUDI Specialists

If you pulled those latches off and put the original Mk1 ones on, the doors would shut nicely.sigpic Camden GTI Performance. VW / AUDI Specialists
