Looks good, Andrew. Very straight. LOVE the canopy! Don't take that off!

The back will come in handy if I decide to go camping in it. Nice mattress in there, cool!!
Its going to be loaded up on the way home, thats for sure.
By the way, the Passat, mid 90s model, that I am pulling the twincam out of has all the bits on it so if anyone needs bits from it let me know. I am taking the rear discs and master cyl ect but the rest is for sale. The car is basically the same as a Mk3 golf in the mechanicals. The front brakes will be too big for the 13inch wheels but I am not a big brake person.
              Cheers!!

Well, at last!! Tomorrow morning at 5am I head out of home bound for Sydney. I should get my eyes on this thing late tomorrow morning at last!!
Been a long time coming and I hope its all worth it.
My main concern is getting the pink slip and permit to drive it and also to make sure it doesnt let me down on the Hume Hwy. Wish me luck, I think I am going to need a fair bit of that!!!
Full report when I get home with pics. Hopefully none of me making a roadside barbecue out of it.

Best for the Vics to contact Tim to find out if he has anything planned.

Well, worked hard yesterday and removed the 9a from the Passat up here in Sydney. Having a few issues getting the paperwork and permit to get the thing back to Tassie. Hopefully resolve that today otherwise I will book a flight in disgust. The ute is almost 60s yankee style with woodgrain inserts in the dash and all!! The rear springs are a bit sad especially with all the stuff in the back. I have fitted some 14in Passat wheels for the trip south, if it is going to happen... Time will tell today I spose.....
Good to catch up with vwconvert for a meal last night, thoroughly enjoyable mate. Good to catch up.
                              Cheers, Andrew
