Just rang my friend in Sydney 5 minutes ago to see what was going on with the Caddy and I could here the deisel motor rattling away as he was putting on the trailer to take it back to his place. Reckons its a lot nicer than what he remembered it. It has a dealer badge on the rear showing where it was originally sold from.
Its getting closer....

Guy is sending the wheels to Sydney to meet the Caddy. That way its easier to bring them to Tassie in back of it.
I think I will be leaving Sydney around the 2nd of Janurary to cruise down the Hume. Be in Melbourne briefly on the 3rd I hope. Meet up down at the boat fellas??

Doesnt sound like it but on the phone this morning it sounded very rattley. Might be cam timing or pump.. Hmm, wonder how many tools you can fit in hand luggage on planes???

haha, that reminds me of when my family and i went to france last year.

aussie airport security got mum's nail clippers out of her bag (which she has had for about 15 years and have been pretty much everywhere in the world), they then snapped off the swing-out metal nail file creating an extremely sharp edge where the metal had bent and snapped...and then gave the clippers back to her . she just looked at them a bit sideways and walked off.
