  • It got a service (including new coolant), had brake pads replaced, and a new tie rod. I got to hand over a reasonable amount of cash to the good people at GHR

    • Cheers for the input Jarred, might have a look into it.

      Back to what I fixed on the Mk1 today...
      Washer bottle sprayer wasnt working, but the wipers do?
      So..checked the fuses, connections etc, fine!...cleaned the main connection to the pump with wd-40 and fine sandpaper and bingo, screen washer works!

        • put in a hydro master clutch cylinder. Yay.
          Putting together the drive shafts for 02A gbox.
          MK1 floG soon to have 16v 2L with cable change gbox - need a 16v turbo manifold

          • Put on new crank pulley and new water pump. Means I can put on the alternator on and might ever think about putting the motor back in.
