Flipped the tie-rod ends and installed ball-joint spacers, now I have to get a wheel alignment. Hello proper steering geometry. In the process I found that one of the coilover spring seats was a bit loose and could be turned by hand - I'm pretty sure that was the annoying creaking sound when turning at slow speeds.

Btw my control arms are about 20mm higher at the wheel ends so its not super low. It should be level or a tiny bit above with the extenders in. It will be interesting to see how noticeable the difference is.

I 'fixed' my parcel shelf supports,.. by putting 'new' ones in! Replaced my clutch cable that was about to snapand also modified the clutch travel a bit, so I dont have to raise my knee above my ear to shift. Put some new rear wheels cyl's on some old (but have good thickness) rear drums. Also started prepping for the mk 3 booster and 22mm MC upgrade.

took off from turning into Nepean Hwy for a blast, foot to the boards and literally the gas pedal stayed there...cursing that the accel. cable had slipped at the Webber, it was only the (new) accel. cable that had popped out of the (new) rubber bush on the end of the gas pedal....easy fix and a great blast up to the Elsternwick video store(who still have us on their records after a 7 year absence!!)
