apple green was one of the first colours I wanted before I even owned a mk 1, but I just don't think I'd enjoy it really.

It was a tough decision between white and inaris silver for me...I chose the silver cos it'd be cool

the contrast between the tan/beige and the chrome bumper i reckon is that absolute shizz. grille highlights, polished bumper, polished mesh rims that AREN'T 11" on the back.

without panel work i'd go white it hides a lot
            other wise the silver

Any pastel colour is the way to go, but bear in mind you'll need to take off all that yellow paint first, as I don't think it was applied with the best of care

I was applied with the best of care thank you very much!

Just applied by two guys that were making it up as they went along!

If I was to respray again, I would be taking alot more time. Body work is pretty decent, but a few spots need fixing. I would make it as close to possible as I could if I sprayed again.

well, chrome bumpers for sure. chrome surround, standard tails probably. Wheels, who knows, something old school.

                      "retro" loook

i think out of the choices you've got there white would be the go. the colour you are missing and which would look the BEST with an mk1......metallic gunmetal grey. nothing would look better than that.

metallic gunmetal is a great colour on a mk 1 I agree. I don't feel it's very retro though. Which is what i'm going for.

Thanks everyone for voting and your input!

Found a colour I should have had though.
