the contrast between the tan/beige and the chrome bumper i reckon is that absolute shizz. grille highlights, polished bumper, polished mesh rims that AREN'T 11" on the back.
Any pastel colour is the way to go, but bear in mind you'll need to take off all that yellow paint first, as I don't think it was applied with the best of care

Just applied by two guys that were making it up as they went along!
If I was to respray again, I would be taking alot more time. Body work is pretty decent, but a few spots need fixing. I would make it as close to possible as I could if I sprayed again.

i think out of the choices you've got there white would be the go. the colour you are missing and which would look the BEST with an mk1......metallic gunmetal grey. nothing would look better than that.

metallic gunmetal is a great colour on a mk 1 I agree. I don't feel it's very retro though. Which is what i'm going for.
