I voted for Tan, really suits a MK1, but if it was mine it would be Satin Silver or Black Magic !!

depends on the look youre going for.
For old school cool tan works for me.
If you want it to look tough as then id go black or white.
the metallic colours make a mk1 look more modern. But not in a bad way

If I was to do Mars Red, I would end up doing a full GTI replica, which doesn't feature in my current plan.

One day, but not with this car.

The citrus Red is the closest you'll get to Red Pete.

Why stop at just one colour?

Are you spraying it in the shed again??? If not then I like the Frost Blue. Dumped, Limo tint, she'll look the goods.

Inaris Silver (met) looks the goods too me, nice inbetween retro and new specially if you do without the front bumpers.

for driving perposes I'd be keeping the bumpers on. Does look tought without.

Probably depends on what colour I spray as to where I spray it. And if I've got the spare dosh for booth hire.

                              I'm just spit balling atm.

I'm going to be keeping the styling "clean" which is why I like the Inaris silver.

But I also like retro, which is why I put the chrome yellow and citrus red in, great 70's colours and great on a mk 1.

Whites a classic choice, and would keep the styling clean, but may loose some of that retro flavour.

I just threw in tan/beige because it looks good. Proved to be more popular than I first thought!

I'm afraid the Blue, while a great colour on that mk 1, mightn't look so great on mine with chrome bumpers. So I don't know.
