  • Gld fuel filter

I checked Repco for a Z118 fuel filter today and was staggered at the price of $80 odd .This seems a bit much.Does anyone know a more reasonably priced alternative? Ryco filters have gone through the roof of late.I thought that maybe a genuine one might be cheaper than the Ryco one
    Any help appreciated Regards Dennis.

It's been about 12 months since I had (and serviced) the Mk1, I didn't think I paid anywhere near that price and I bought from AutoBarn. No help on where to get one cheap these days though, sorry

If it has an engine or heartbeat it's going to cost you.

yeah mate, ring a specialist and get genuine - shouldn't be more than 20-30 bucks. genuine is Mann.

you are aware of what repco stands for? Rip Every Poor C___ Off.

I nearly choked when I found the price of the ryco filter!

Just bought one at Imparts in Melbourne for $22.60 They had an Italian brand filter: Clean Filters DN323.

            Cheers.

I heard you can get them on ebay in packs of 6 which works out at 5-6 bucks each.

Works out well if you happen to be running your first tanks of biodiesel through, but maybe you want a better quality one for general use..
