    Is that still the case?.
My 2015 Peugeot 2008 e-HDI is not the 'Blue' version and no mention of an auxiliary tank or additive.

Generally not used under 3.0 litres as a physical trap works fine ( and is cheaper ) whereas the bigger diesels have both the physical space and requirement for an additive system.

As much as I love the modern diesels characteristics I've come to the sad conclusion that from a total cost of ownership proposition, the figures just don't add up.
        Our Peugeot 1.2 turbo triple (6A) - 96kw/230nm(fm 1750rpm) on 95RON is averaging exactly the advertised 5.1L/100 after 16k ~
        My Peugeot 1.6 e-HDI turbo 4 (manual) - 68kw/230nm(fm 1750rpm) diesel is averaging exactly 3.9L/100 after 8k
and if diesel reverts to ~ the same price as 95RON and considering the dubious long term reliability of the diesel emission ancillaries and associated costs .........where exactly are the savings to offset initial higher price of the diesel version?.

Greg, it might be worth giving the guys at LM a call. They've been very approachable and open with the dealings I've had with them at trade level. They could possibly even point you in the direction of one of their stockists for a demonstration on the DPF cleaning.

Yeah no doubt, I'd actually like to stock their diesel intake cleaner specifically, so might be timely. What bothers me is how anyone, and there are plenty of multi stage DPF direct cleaning systems out there, is chemically reducing inert oil ash.

I don't think they sell the specific Penrite product I want unfortunately.

If you are referring to their ENVIRO+DPF cleaner, my local Repco store has it. It was too dear for me @ $26 for one dose.
I don't normally have a problem with our DPF so I will pass on that as I don't have a club card.
Understand how it works, troubleshoot logically BEFORE replacing parts.

interestering, that's the stuff!........I didn't realise they stocked all Penrite's products.
Having free road side assistance (new car ) works against me in this instance.....let it lapse.

                        Thanks but
Looks like Autobarn or SCA instead for me.

Every diesel owner should have a can on standby in the boot for that time the DPF plays up, especially at that price!

I have a small BP near by who sell the Penrite for $15.90. I put a bottle in every fill...Not sure why they sell it so cheap! Didn't feel the need to ask...

Jesus, buy me a pallet? I bought three bottles of Wynns out of the UK last time for over $100.

I've had a chat to LiquiMoly and it seems their two part system targets the ASH, and it is designed to recondition a clogged DPF. I'm up for the challenge, and as my DPF has about 25% ash in it now at 50 thou, will get some of this stuff and measure the difference before and after. Will be a bloody good thing if it works as they claim, would become the annual $100 flush out, as any diesel will get better power and economy with a less restrictive exhaust.
