Quick question, where did you get the "new stainless steel 'TDI' scuff plates" from and do you have any pictures of them fitted to your car? Thanks, Peter.

Yeah me too, I couldn't find another new river blue car running these tail lights so was unsure how they turn out.
But the result speaks for itself

              Not much of an update,
however I've been speaking to Nik Brewer from Uber-stealth and will be having a side mound stealth 8" sub box made up for the car; takes 30days to make and plus postage will be quite sometime before I will be receiving it
But in any case I'm prepping for the install, already have a JBL GT0804 8" speaker that a mate gave me out of his Soarer he was wrecking.
Purchased this wiring kit so i don't have to cut/join into my factory loom for the head unit

and will be purchasing this amp to power it
              PUNCH Amplifiers - PBR300X1 - Rockford Fosgate®
its tiny, as you can see in the pic

So once its all done it should be quite a neat install. Nik also mentions that the carpet he uses is an exact match to the VW's factory boot carpet, which with me being a perfectionist I'm really happy about that

Got my rear muffler delete today from Glenroy exhaust, cost $180 and had new twin tips welded on
so exhaust is completely straight through now haha, sounds great
Will probably be selling the Milltek rear muffler and tips soon
I've also ordered the above mention amp, and box is currently been made

Work's been hectic atm so hard to keep playing around with car too much

Hey man, been looking at your TDI as i bought mine... (06 United grey, manual, sunroof and leather) how low do you sit? (if you have measured?)
do you have any recordings of your exhaust note?
                          much cop attention?

last time i had atape under there from what I could measure it was about 55ish mm at lowest point
No recordings of the milltek system though, its not much louder than stock but gives a nice note on WOT

Your p plate will be the cop attention. Sad but true.
There's YouTube clips of this with milltek systems. There's a link on the first page of my build thread...
