HELP Exhaust Pressure Sensor 1 (G450): Signal too High
I would trust Umai Naa! He is a VW tech, and knows what he is talking about.
Nothing to lose there, it either works or not and without further checking the DPF, he has nothing to lose anyway.
I'm sure he will let us know soon enough.
Just fitted new sensor, those hoses were a p@#$%, did the ignition on off 3 times, cleared the fault light with a launch scanner, started
the car a couple of times, light has'nt come back on yet, see what happens when I take for a drive.
Thanks everybody for all your help, keep you posted on the outcome.
Hello everyone, I own a VW Passat station wagon 4WD ( 4 wheel drive) of 05 /2006 ( should be a 3C5 ) , displacement 1968 TDI , Power 103 k , diesel , bmp, manual transmission, FAP/DPF . After starting the amber light of the exhaust gas, the mechanic using his computer for diagnosis , told me that the computer has detected a problem with the oxygen sensor and so it has to be be replaced. Initially, the VAG marked the error " oxygen lambdasensor " , but now the sensor has been replaced but the same indicator light persist with a new error obtained by reconnecting the computer-VAG: exhaust gas pressure sensor G450-Signal too High . Soon I will also change this sensor and then hope that this " Christmas tree" stop light and everything resumes to normal operation ! In addition, the consumption of late have changed for the worse ! Thanks in advance to anyone who can give me more information and help on this matter .. bye, sgtpepper
