Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

Thanks for the feedback guys !

Did you use the full 250 mls( think that was the amount - dont have the bottle in front of me now) in your VW tanks being that they are mostly around the 50 ltr capacity ?

I want to use it in my CRD Rodeo first. This has around 50K on it currently. Not sure about using it in the new 103 TDI we have just picked up - it isnt through it's second tank of diesel yet. I've not found anything to say if fuel doctor is safe for use with DPF's yet.

I throw a whole bottle in approx every 7000kms. The idea is to "shock" the system and prevent any algae forming - unlikely in BP ultimate fuel, but you never know.

Fuel doctor will be a lot less of a problem to your DPF than the stock amount of oil blowby it ingests on a daily basis.
