My brother is a member of a large Motor Home Club and they buy in bulk a product called MainLube, and they all use it in their Diesel motors homes and im using it in my Navara Diesel and my Golf V gt Diesel ,I was given a 1ltr bottle and ive nearly used half in 6 months and i do notice a more smoother idle in both vehicles. They also make other additives.

I've tried Lucas Fuel Additive; filled up 6 days ago.
Lucas Fuel Treatment : Lucas Oil
As per instructions, I put 330ml in the T5’s fuel tank and filled up. I have to admit that the blue smoke from the exhaust on first start up in the morning is completely gone.
The word of caution!
If your diesel has DPF box, I wouldn't use it, since I don't see any note on the product label that it is suitable for vehicles equipped with the DPF. But that's only me, you make your own decision.Performance Tunes from $850Wrecking RS OCTAVIA 2 Link

Thanks to Transporter for the info.
I have found this link a bit more helpful as the Wurth site is hard to navigate; Wurth Australia Pty Ltd - The Assembly Professionals

I have also just tried a bottle of the Liqui Moly SPEED TEC Diesel whilst I wait for the Wurth products.
I must say it is pretty good! Sells for $20 - $25 at various Supercheap / autObarn retailers.
LIQUI-MOLY Fuel and Oil Treatments & Additives
Out of interest, has anyone tried the Liqui Moly TOP TEC 4200 5W-30 engine oil?
It has the following approval VW 504.00/507.00.
I am interested in trying it...MY18 VW Passat Alltrack Wolfsburg Edition + Panoramic Sunroof + some extra goodies... (Pure White)

Transporter, as for the Liqui Moly oil and your question around MoS2, here you go; LIQUI-MOLY Fuel and Oil Treatments & AdditivesMY18 VW Passat Alltrack Wolfsburg Edition + Panoramic Sunroof + some extra goodies... (Pure White)

Did a little more research and contacted Liqui Moly Australia today.
They have advised that they no longer import the Speed Tec Diesel. Only what is available in retail outlets.
After speaking with a rep, they sent me an email with the Technical specs of the Liqui Moly Diesel Anti-Knock Plus. FUEL ADDITIVES
According to the spec sheet it is safe to use with DPF's.
This looks more like a cleaner than just a booster of the Speed Tec.
What are your thoughts on the Diesel Anti-Knock Plus?
PM me if you want me to send you the PDF Spec Sheet.
Unfortunatley I am unable to add to this thread.MY18 VW Passat Alltrack Wolfsburg Edition + Panoramic Sunroof + some extra goodies... (Pure White)

Hi Guys,
I just recently put in 70mL of Chemtech "Diesel Power" (instructions say 1mL of fuel additive to every litre of diesel fuel) in with my last Shell diesel fill since we're going to be going for a long trip. Although only had the Passat TDI for just under 3 months (4,000km), has anyone else used this product and are they basically all the same (770g/L liquid hydrocarbons)?
Also, is it a good idea to put some additive into your diesel tank every 3 or 6 months to keep the injectors clean as I used to do this regularly with all my previous petrol cars?

sorry if this has already been answered but my brains mush after work today and all these additives and cleaners being thrown around have done nothing but go in and straight out.
Can someone please tell me a good fuel additive (i.e. to add to every tank) for my mk6 TDI? and where i could get it?
Thanks in advance

Just remember that additive must be made for Common rail and also that the majority of the additives coud be used all the time you just use less of it.Performance Tunes from $850Wrecking RS OCTAVIA 2 Link
