Ah the upgraded turbo routine. I've been looking at tdiclub and there appears that there are 3 aftermarket turbos available. That is if you want to keep the original manifold.....The exhaust housing is intergral with the manifold....sigh.

Hi guys, I'm new to the forums, looking for some advice on my pd140 golf! I've had a look through many posts and couldn't find an answer but sorry if its been done already!
I'm looking for a hybrid turbo after my oem one blowing the other day . I was told the md376 (vnt20?) will bolt on...
Get a gt2260v out of late model BMW and you can get ~270bhp and 1,5bar already @2000rpm in a 1.9TDI (won't be P&P). That's if you know what you are doing...
Yeah but to get the 2260V on a golf requires a different (ie: tubular) exhaust manifold. Like try doing that with a DPF or finding a tuner who knows what thier doing here in OZ.
I'm lucky in that I don't have DPF, but theres no one with any idea here in Adelaide who would know how to tune it afterwards.
But i love your youtube video.
If you have any idea who in oz does this stuff let us know!
