  • 60 000km Service

    Dear Gentlemen/Ladies,

Had my car in for its 60k service at Prestige and Performance in Coorparoo.
Car feels great! Service was pretty prompt and very helpfull.
Had a VWR panel filter installed while i was at it.

Price was a few hundred down on VW dealership even with the aftermarket panel filter.

    Highly recommended.

I've just hit 40,000 and looking for somewhere to get mine serviced, I'm now based at Toowong during the day. Coorparoo isn't that far so could be worth a look.

had my 60k service done at the above P&P a couple of weeks ago.did the service ok but had a real attitude problem and i had to just about beg to get the tyres rotated, even though i specifically asked for it to be done when i booked the car in.price was cheaper as mentioned though.some pr training for management would be helpful though.

any reputable European service workshop can do you the 40k service at a good price. tell them it's to be a warranty approved service (all genuine parts and approved oil only). don't stress over an oil change and a check of the fluids.. save it for the major service.

Found a guy at Milton (David Mullins) who is quoting $250 for the 45,000 service. Thought that was pretty good. He'll use all approved oil and parts etc.

wow... that is really cheap. Will be interesting to see if all consumables are replaced on the list or only the ones deemed needing it. Have had a really cheap quoted service on a prev car i owned and that is pretty much what they did.

45k is only a minor service. The only thing changed is oil & filter

Yep he showed me the air filter he replaced which was a nice touch, will take it back to him for the 60,000 which should be around $600-$700 instead of the dealer $1000+

                          Engine oil
                          Engine oil filter
                          Fuel filter
                          Spark plugs
                          Pollen filter
DSG oil and filter (unless it's a manual)
Haldex oil if it's over 3 years old.

So yeah, around $1,000 for most private shops.
