Easiest to get would be Penrite 5W-30 Enviro+.
It's called exactly that, and carries the correct 504/507 VW approval.
If in doubt, you can buy the correct oil from your preferred VW dealer.'07 Transporter 1.9 TDI

Repco has valvoline Synpower 3 on special at the moment for <$60 / 5L
It needs to have VW Approval 504.00 / 507.00 on the label. The Approval is the important bit. If it simply "meets the requirements / specification" then they haven't paid VW to have it tested.carandimage The place where Off-Topic is On-Topic
