Hey Kaz - with the sea of DSG owners on here i think you were forgotten.
As for short shifters, you have the following options:
- Forge Motorsports Forge Short Shifter Kit, All 6spd
- VW Racing APR - High Performance Development for Audi, VW and Porsche Vehicles.
- Dieselgeek VW Short shifter for 6 speed Golf, Jetta, GTI, GLI, Passat, Audi TT and more.
- TWM Volkswagen Golf R 2011+ Short Throw Shifter
- HPA HPA Motorsports Inc. - Short Throw Shifters
Speaking from experience, i used to have the Dieselgeek shifter and didn't like it. It was very notchy and not very enjoyable to drive with. I have since sold it and gone back to the stock shifting mechanism but installed the 42DD solid shifter bushings which have given the gear change more feel. -
Hey thanks for the advice...met a lad yest whom also installed these bushings... will they lessen the throw at all? Or just make the shift more tight?

No the 42DD bushings dont shorten the throw but they make the gearshift feel alot better (less sloppy and rubbery). Another short shifter i forgot about is the Neuspeed one: NEUSPEED Short Shift Kit 66.10.94 - DrivetrainComment

hey, very hard to decide which one to go with. wonder if the audi tt shift kit and 42dd bushings is the best option. where did you get the bushings from?

Short shifter
