You could have spent 1/4 of that and had the OEM Lights smoked for the darker cherry look... would have been way better IMHO.
sorry if my last post came across a little hostile mate. agreed I could have saved myself a fair amount of cash if I had got them smoked but finding someone in my area willing to do it was a challenge for legal reasons etc. would have done it myself but didnt want to risk stuffing it up. lucky you managed to get the white rocco looks great especially with the wheels you've got on it.

Its all good.... I didnt take any offence at your comment... as I said... Each to their own...
I am with Mac135 in that they just don't look integrated....but you obviously like them and that is all that matters...
Thanks for the compliment on my Roc... the wheels were an interesting exercise but well worth it, all I need to do now is sort out the rear tyre size... 265x30 just isn't wide enough...lol Oh... and lower it a little more...

These look ok (my opinion) but i want to know why each of the four led elements that are on the Golf R look like they are "one piece" yet all the aftermarket ones look lie they are made up of a series of individual leds , which of course they are.

I guess i'll be keeping the originals

That's exactly what I was saying before. The LED's are spaced out too much. They don't cluster them together like on the Golf R. I'm holding out until they come up with some decent after markets before I make any changes.

It actually depends on the angle of observation as to whether the Golf R LEDs appear integrated or not. On the vertical plain they do look like one strip, but if you view slightly to one side (which is a less-often photographed angle), they do stand apart.

I reckon the main issue with those fitted by london_se23 is there aren't enough distinct LEDs to allow them to be bunched closely together.

I reckon it is the curved line that connects the leds and integrates the. Look. This is a tick from me.

I really like these and was torn between getting them or the Golf R style lights I fitted.

Any reason why your taking them out?

Just a personal decision as I have too much going on with the wrap and the rear diffuser I have.
