Geez that's a great deal, doesn't look like we'll see another Scirocco for a long time either with VW's cull of models post Diesel scandal. That's a shame because there is a distinct lack of interesting cars for around the $50k mark. I don't want an SUV but all manufacturers are jumping on the popularity of them and unfortunately it leaves me a bit short on what to trade the Rocco in for. Maybe Blue103TDIDSG is right and I should just trade in the Roc for a new one

If you want one you better order it now! I was going to put down my $2000 in April but unforseen house expenses put an end to that dream. It's going to be a 2-3 year waiting list if you order one now!
I went to the Tesla factory 2 years ago as a former colleague is an electrical engineer there. Took a Model S P85 for a thrash on the Sunday deserted San Francisco freeways - holy smokes those things move rapidly!

Plans? Stage 1 tune and DSG software will no doubt come in the not too distant future

Adam, I don't want to disappoint you but I think this one may be quite short. It's a really nice car stock and a couple of small tweaks should be all it needs.Originally posted by AdamD View PostCongrats Damien! Can't wait for the build thread!
And wife actually likes the Cadiz wheels.

Thanks Lucas I'm really happy with the car. I would have liked the leather seat option but had been warned off them as they can get really hot in summer.
It's a great car to drive - maybe not the easiest to get in and out of but small sacrifices must be made

Congrats on the car
Totally agreeOriginally posted by tigger73 View PostIt's a great car to drive
Had mine almost 18 months - an MY16 too, now with 8500kms on it and loving ever one of them
Agree again although you do get used to it - and I'm an old fartOriginally posted by tigger73 View Postmaybe not the easiest to get in and out of
The long doors are my greatest problem with limited space in the garage
No problem in car parks as it has never and will never be in one
My greatest fear is that it gets stolen or written off (by someone else) and can't be replaced
