Haha I've pretty much already waited 3 years to own this so I can wait a liiittle longer

Basically we have enough cars at the moment, my sister will use one of them for uni next year so we'll be one car short...enter the scirocco

No options, the sunroof was a disappointment, and don't really care for the others

Yeah, I am inclined to have the same disappointment on the sunroof that can only do tilt, guess because of the roofline shape it cannot do any better. On the other hand, the RS265 only has a fixed glass sunroof...

The other annoyance is the mesh covering and not a solid one.

I found it actually not too bad in absorbing the heat. But this is actually the main reason stops some people from getting the panorama sunroof on Q3 and Q5...just too many meshes for a much bigger area...

Just took delivery of my baby on Friday morning. Deposit down on Monday arvo. Awesome turn around for a car with <20k's on the clock. Loving the new car smell.

Hey Bec, you're right of course the more indiums around the less individual i get to be but as no one takes my advice.......

I probaby see 3 or 4 roc a week. White and blue mostly like you say. There is a black around here i see from time to time. Just seen one silver tee-off - they are very special!

The silver is a bit of a sleeper, as it's not a common golf colour either. If it wasn't for the R front xenon / LED combination, it'd be almost impossible to spot.

If I could go back 18 months and re-pick my car, I'd still pick RB only because I've always loved the colour, but IG would be a close second

well my car landed at port on the 29th!

went into the dealer yesterday and he said it will probably be ready the week after next

i was like awww ): so he said they'll try and get her ready by next friday (not hopeful though, i already can't sleep and i haven't even been given a delivery date)

i guess it takes them a while to get tint and satnav done?

i dunno lol, but i can't sleep

Congrats Muri! I can tell the feeling when hearing the car just landed...it should become ready sooner than expect. It won't take them more than a couple of days to fit the sat nav and tint.

What's the usual time from landing>dealer acquisition>delivery? Surely not more then two weeks lol... They've given me a loan car which is the VW up! Which I barely fit in haha I'm itching for my roc

Edit: they've given me the vin, chassis and engine number which is a good sign haha

I have just ordered my Scirocco two days ago! It's just been made and waiting to get on the ship. I've been told estimated delivery would be in April. Now the waiting begins..

Mine is a CW Manual, no options.
