Had the Milltek Turbo-back system (supplied by Ian @ Rennenhaus) installed on my roc yesterday by the boys at RTR and I have to say that I absolutely love it, and although not as loud as everyone expected, I am glad I went with the resonated option, as I would like to maintain a good relationship with my neighboursMY12 Scirocco R - slightly not stock

Sounds great Shedub.
Would love to see some pics of the finished product. (exhaust tips)
Did you personally get a resonator and add it to the kit or do Miltek offer a specific kit with resonator for a quieter exhaust note?
How much louder is it than before? Any Drone?

Milltek offer a resonated and a non-resonated option. You can swap the mid sections at any time though.
It's not that much louder than stock, just nicer and with the resonated option I have noticed any droning.MY12 Scirocco R - slightly not stock

Sounds good. I did a similar thing with an APR RSC exhaust system. Got a resonator for it and it actually gave it a pretty good note.
Have u got ur VWR springs Installed yet?? Thinking about getting these however really concerned about driveway clearance.

I haven't been able to splash out and buy my Rocco yet, but my cousin is looking at the Millitek non-resonated option for his Rocco, so thanks for the information.
I hope you are somewhere nice for your holiday

Guess everyone has either stopped modifying their Rocco's or has stopped reading this thread.
I must admit, I've stopped looking for mods for mine. Still waiting for my wheels lol
I hope you are able to buy your Rocco soonMY12 Scirocco R - slightly not stock

Haha Ian, I know it's been a long wait. Patience is a virtue that I do not really possess (there are some exceptions).
Yay for APR! Knew you couldn't resist modding for long
Most importantly, what wheels are you looking at?MY12 Scirocco R - slightly not stock

Still looking but i still like the VW Savannah. A bit more agressive than the talle's plus offset fills out the car a bit more.
That might be a bit boring though so undecided.Scirocco: Indium Grey, DSG, pana roof, Sat/Nav, Dynaudio, VWR springs and APR stage 1. Now sold

I think the standard car ride is too high. The VWR springs lowered it enough for me to comfortably not scrape the lip on every single driveway - just some
Just to add, I've had my springs on since April, and aside from taking some driveways on a more aggressive angle, it's manageable.
I bought my springs from Ian @ Rennenhaus - top guy!Last edited by she_dub; 27-09-2012, 03:34 PM.MY12 Scirocco R - slightly not stock

Welcome
I drive in comfort mode in the city, and sport on freeways (providing it's not peak hour) apart from the slightly harsher ride, there's no difference.
I am considering coilovers though.. maybe..MY12 Scirocco R - slightly not stock

So the ride is definitely harsher with the springs. Damn it i guess u can't have ur cake and eat it too
That is of course unless u spend some serious $$$ and get the KW coil overs with ACC plug and play.
I was looking at these also before I started considering the VWR springs but the price is simply not attractive.
