Decided to go with the ETA BETA rims for now. A mere 9.4kg's each!

Went with the matte black and chrome version rather than polished black.

Now to wait the 4 - 6 weeks

Does anyone know what we need to do about the tyre pressure sensors?

There are no sensors.... tyre pressure monitoring is done as part of the ABS, EBD in that it monitors individual wheel speeds (against another 1000 odd conditions) and picks up differences.
When tyre pressure is low the rolling diameter is different, therefore wheel speed will be different.

            19x9 front and rear.
            40 offset

---------- Post added at 06:34 PM ---------- Previous post was at 06:33 PM ----------

No option for staggered and i dont think a staggered wheel would look all that good on this type of car.

So you are 12 mm closer to the strut and 14 mm further out to the guard.

What size and brand tyre will you be running?

While on the question of tyres....what tyres are these local cars being delivered on? Seems the Uk and euro cars are on a range of tyres pirelli p7, Conti 2/3's, Dunlop Sport Maxx an Bridgestones RE's.

Not sure on brand as yet, but ill be going a 255 or 265 dependent on the sidewall of the tyre. I dont particularly like the stretched tyre look.

Looking to spend at most 600 a tyre.

Have you had a look at this thread NEW Car NEW Build Thread - Page 6

Wheels are ADV8.1 Forged One Piece
                          19 x 9.5 ET35
Tyres are 265/30-19 Michelin Pilot Super Sports

It hasn't been lowered yet but he is going to need to crank on some camber on the rear and roll the front guards to make sure nothing rubs....
I am not sure how much difference your 40 offset will make against the 35...

Have you had any prices on tyres yet? I asked Kevin (the threat above) about how quiet the Michelins were and he said way better then the Bridgestones.

It looks like they are from 10d's car.

My offset and width should be fine. The wheels he has are .5cm further out than mine due to offset and then he has added another 1.27cm overall to the width by getting 9.5" rims.

So take all that into consideration, I should be alright.

In regards to tyres, im thinking ill get my tyres from OS (tyrerack). Looking at the Continental ContiSportContact5's which would be roughly 1800 delivered.

Considering they are 600 - 800 a tyre (if you can even get them here yet) it just seems stupid wasting money locally.
