Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

The new forum software is an upgraded version of what came before, it's mostly the same but also a little different. Hopefully easier to use and more stable than before. We are learning together here, so please be patient. If you have questions, please post them here. If you have worked something out and can provide an answer,

Just missed on a US 16v rocco ( 88 model) would have cost me about
$6500 by the time it was in my shed...

maybe next trip to the states I'll find a good minimal rust car seeing I will be checking out Arizona ..
          Lots of MK 1 Scirocco's...

If it aint a MK 1 then it must be a donor car ??

          Cheers,
          Grant...

Hey roccodingo, that seems a bit for a LHD car. At least a pommie one would be RHD, but not 16v.

              car $1500 US = $2000 Aust
              shipping & duty = approx $3500 AUD
              allowed extra grand for incidentals..

got sold before I had a reply from the authorities here as to IF I would have to change it to RHD ( answer was no btw ).

              another will come along..
