Easy choice ... old one for track (Classic cars events) new one for road ... oh ... that's right, it's a 'race' car. Standardise the exterior and ... new one for road.

          that's why they're projects!

I like older cars. They make you actually drive instead of doing everything for you.

A trip to sydney in the Karmann Ghia is a real joy all the way, whereas if you do it in a new car, it's set the cruise and move the steering wheel a bit most of the way!

                this is so true.
For me some cars are such an experience to drive. Most modern cars are just bland in comparison to older ones. Its not about ultimate grip or fastest straight line speed. Its more about how a car reacts when its driven at its limits. Or the sound it makes. Or the feel of the steering. some cars just put a big grin on ya face.

Agree with you guys completely, my car is now 16 years old and has plenty of character to drive. No other car i have driven feels like the Corrado turning into corners ! I would like something newer as well now, because i don't want to use the Corrado as a daily anymore, feel its time to stash it away and have either a Mk4 R32 or Mk5 GTI.

I'm really starting to like Mk1 Roccos, and that one takes the cake...

I wish it was offered as an optional extra - it would be one box I wouldn't be ticking!!
