Car is fast, most issues are sorted. Hopefully I will get my race clutch and engine mounts this week, then we will be on and cracking for the track

I'm glad you guys are having timing, should give me a decent yardstick for future potential. See you trackside.

Hold Tight!

So after a bit of drama with customs, finally got this this week.



Had a late one on Monday night with Mastertech Beau and we got the clutch and race engine mounts in.



Car is loads more responsive, you can hold on in the gears longer and get into it earlier. 3rd gear is epic! Its virtually undriveable in the wet!

Bizzarely the harder mounts and clutch seems to have fixed some of the cabin rattles!

It actually is not that harsh to drive with the clutch, its in and not engaged, or out and on and cracking. Needs a bit more revs from a standing start, thats it. Only stalled it twice so far

The 2 door is Danger Dans, just waiting for the engineerer and then it will be terrorizing the streets.
We gave it some love and it is extremely rapid

Bullet holes are where I removed the number plate surround. Thanks for noticing Steve

So have had the clutch in for 2 days, broke a driveshaft yesterday and managed to loose 4th Gear today.
In with the spare gearbox for racing on Friday and will have to see what happens next...

Nice work their Matt, welcome to my world of gearbox failure i have killed seven 020 5 speeds! I never broke a drive shaft though i have shattered a CV joint.

So what was your time on the track today???

The Car did 1.15

Also was fanged hard all day with nary a failure, whilst all around fancy modern cars cooked brakes and broke themselves

I put the 15" Track tyres on last week and realized how much better the offset could be on my beast.

I have never gone to a smaller wheel on a car before, but you can corner HARD with 15s
