                    Hi,

A noob to the forum and to VW cars.
Got my 2015 Scirocco R earlier this year and have put in a couple of mods to get it driving right.

                    APR stage 1 tune
                    VWR Cold air intake

                    H&R springs
HP sway bars front and back
                    Suppalloy control arms.

Next step is a dump pipe to go to stage 2 and my mech is suggesting I get a DSG tune.

Reading your posts you've got a DSG tune, will I be over stressing my DSG as I believe that will lift the torque limiters.
And will the dump pipe spoil the exhaust note to the point of overbearing?

                    Any advice will be appreciated.

                    thanks

The ECU had to be removed and sent to QLD. It's due back on Tuesday, hopefully ready for tuning mid-late next week.

                          Hi and welcome WAROCCO,

I have owned four DQ250 equipped VWs over the last 6 years. Two of them were tuned to Stage 2+ and received DSG tuning. Not a single issue to date. It is well worth the cost involved.

A dump pipe upgrade usually results in a slightly deeper exhaust note but nothing that will introduce excessive drone.
I have the APR dump pipe on mine and have no complaints at all. I'm yet to hear what mine sounds like with the Milltek small resonator cat-back but hope to have video to post up by the end of this week.

A minor setback, but nothing out of the ordinary in this game. The Tiburon is the trusty daily/back up option

I'm undergoing a race car build. Audi 2.0tfsi Improved Production and 2lt sports sedans. So I don't have to worry about roadworthy or epa tests. I'm doing a 3 inch custom exhaust front to back which is only tube!!!

Has been interesting reading your blog. Wish I had read it earlier as I could have offered you my high flow cat miltek system just removed from the car.

I was really excited to find out that on the Audi s3 that the stock intercooler is so light and we'll made.

I'm doing an E85 conversion with secret secret billet turbo build (sourced locally) so I'm really interested to see your dyno results. Unfortunately I have to run a 36mm restricted which will hold me back.

sirrocos in my opinion are just as cool as Audi's and hair dressers don't drive them.
