After seeing photos of all the combinations of external and internal colours in the Eos, there is not a dud one amongst them.

IMHO the Eos looks sharp in any combination. Always amused to see a thread asking which colour to buy. The bigger the forum, the more varied the answer.

As yet i haven't found one owner unhappy with their choice of colour. Usually only talk about those things after one sells their car.

Wheel selection seems to make a particular colour stand out from the crowd.

Shame we in Aus miss that whole NA...15 inch.....steel rim....snow season....tyre thing. Now that would stand out.

    Still waiting for mine
    From shipping website:
    Discharged Sat 23 June 2007
Delivered Wed 27 June 2007 (just got to find out what that means...as dealer still doesn't have it yet....11 days after discharge )

I have only now discovered that there is an Aussie Eos site.
I ordered my car in May and it is well on it's way here. Travelling on the Talia from Europe on time, it left Freemantle a day ahead of shedule and reaches Melbourne on the 11th of Sept. I have been told it takes a few weeks to get from Melbourne to Adelaide where I can collect it.

It will be a White car with Red interior. 2.0T DSG, Bluetooth and a few minor trim protection add-ons. I have heard that the colour combination is rare???
I am trading my Jaguar XJ8 Sport of 10 years and I'm really looking forward to the new car.

Hi all and Thanks for the welcome.

I actually live near Adelaide in the hills. A little town called Kersbrook (too small for any traffic lights but big enough for a Pub and a general store.)

I think Kersbrookeos is a bit clumsy Perhaps Kerseos or Keos (with a silent "K")

Fred, it's nice to have you with us at VWwA.

White with red nappa interior sounds like an outstanding combination. When are you expecting delivery? We'll give you a couple of hours after delivery to drive around but then you need to report back to this site with pictures..... please.

I know you'll enjoy you Eos.

I have been waiting (patiently) since the order was placed in May. The car arrived in Melbourne on the 11th of September. The last week has been the longest, but the car might get here in the next week or two. Come on, you guys in Melbourne, "Hand it over"

                  It is waiting for me.

My Eos was ready for me to pick up today, but there were two emergencies at work and I could not get to the dealer's.

I rang the dealer to defer the appointment 'til tommorow morning. She had not yet decided to have the car waiting for me with the roof up or down. It seems some people have the "big stuff" to worry about.

Congrats....it's a pain surviving the wait...."the longest hour is just before the dawn".

Dealer had top down for our handover.....it's a convertible

Wow Fred, that colour combination is a head turner. Imagine it would be a treat in real life. Now you'll just have to tear yourself away from the steering wheel for a couple of minutes and let us know you thoughts so far.

                            Very nice.
My wife's waiting on the same combo - White with red.
Plus it's coming with 18 inch Chicago wheels.
Luckily the car was a stock order and she's only had to wait a month for the car to arrive.
It landed last friday in Sydney and hopefully she'll be able to pick it up next weekend.
Looks like there might be 2 other cars in Sydney with this colour combo also arriving on this shipment.

When it arrives next week we'll have two 2.0T FSI DSG cars.
I've been driving a Red GTI for about 18months now.
It's a bit of a step up in cars for her, previously she was driving a 13 year old 1.6l Ford Lazer

If you get a chance, and stop driving, it would be nice to see some more pics

Hi AJWood, welcome to VWwatercooled Australia.

We are a friendy bunch here, so let us know if your parents were thoughtful and gave you a first name. If not it'll be fine and we'll use AJWood.

I believe once you drive the Eos you may not be so keen to hand over full custody to your wife. Sounds like you need to take responsibility for the break-in of your new Eos. Mmmmm..... maybe that'll take around 12 months or20,000km's

After 5,800 k's in 13 weeks, Lin & I still enjoy the Eos experience. I'll drop the top at any opportunity......although I still resist in the middle of the day. Afternoons, nights and mornings are just magic.

I'am envious of your one month wait.....ours took 6 months. As we had already sold our car we were on a bike for the last four months of which the last two months included winter. I remember one time Lin & I were in the garage looking out of the tillt a door and it was raining cats and dogs. We started to pull on our wet weather gear, and I wasn't game to make eye contact with Lin...just put my gear on like everything was normal. She didn't throw her helmet and gear into the mini skip that day, but I think i was stretching the friendship a bit .

Hope all goes well with your delivery and if my wife is a barometer, your wife will have a blast in her new Eos.

                              Peter

                                Sorry Peter , name's Tony.
Yes my wife keeps saying that I'll "steal" her car.
She works in the city and catches the train, so that means it's sitting in the garage during the week.
So I'll have to keep the battery chraged by drving it to work a few times a week
Yes I had to wait 8 months when I ordered my GTI, so she's very lucky.
But I don't think she could wait that long.
She's so excited about picking it up next Saturday.
Just hope the weather is good.
