Good to hear Sydeos. My dealer said that once it arrrives dealer pdi is around 2 weeks. Hopefully you will get it sooner. Mine left Bremerhaven yesterday on its world tour and arrive in oz 5 weeks later.

Delivered today......

Well six months after being ordered and three months after being built it is finally in my hot little hands.........

Looks good Leigh. Couple of obvious production faults that i could see.

1. Long straight black thinga-me-gig sticking out of the floor in front of the centre console.
2. Exhausts pipes are exposed.

Apart from that........just perfect.

All jokes aside, congrats on a stunner. Can only imagine how it is in real life. Looks like it was well worth the wait.

You will enjoy it Peter. Mine was eleven days from the boat to me but they had to fit the Blue tooth Phone Kit and the iPod kit.

So far haven't seen any of the dramas mentioned on the US side of the Pacific.

The Dynaudio is awesome

The sun was out until about 4.00pm when it started to rain again..... but spent most of the day with the roof down. I also got the rear wind deflector with the car........ wasn't ordered and I understood it to be an accessory but I wasn't going to complain

I ordered mine in Black and on the VW website it says its called Deep Black but on my order form they wrote it as Black Magic. I know Black Magic is the black for the Golf. I paid for the Pearl effect black and when I ask them they say its the same thing, hope they are not bsing me.

Not planning on it. I had the last 2 cars tinted but they both had fixed tops.

While I like the look of the tinted windows with the roof up as it would match the roof panel and sunroof I personally think that roof down and a tint doesn't work so well with the windows up and for the next couple of months at least the roof will be down with the windows up and the heater and heated seat getting a workout.

I have ordered mine with the visually lightest tint which has metallic film in it so that it doesn't look too dark with the roof off and the windows up but still stops me getting fried in the Qld sun... saw one recently with what looked like the same tint and it looked pretty subtle! Just have to wait and see .... if the damn thing ever arrives...
