decided it was unfair to daily my mk2 golf

through our winter(350mpweek commute on salt ridden roads fml)and had the oppo of a vr mk3 golf(I know im getting to the point).t was cheap status with new coils, mulberry highline although it ran a colour concept BLUE interior????this was among the least of its faults but the wooooooom had me locked in. It was de-catted filtered and had the noise and all the detributes that made it a good possible future donor car....but I had no pennies so I said 'yes, ill take it but I need to sell mine first...' duly put mine up for cheaps and sold it within 4 days to then text the guy to find out he'd sold it ....cue emergency car hunt and I came up with this...

    135k(miles)coupe...

    seats have faired well

    came fitted with these randoms

    and a small comfortable bonus

also came supplied with koni adjustables,K&N,middle silencer delete(blowing..along with suitcase at either end)abs fault and several knocks on the shell(sill, rhs C-pillar/swage,lhs rear quarter)and plenty of stone chips

    ohhhh,and this

plans are varied and ever changing but picked up boxster S ph II rims and sourced loaner adaptors so appearing soon probably so I can pull the original wheels off for a refurb

I really had to Running it through winter would have destroyed it with the miles I do and I felt bad about that. Not long home tonight and just sorted out a deal to swap the rado's koni adjustables(shock adj.) for FK highsport silverlines, spent a day or so during the week tidying up a set of phase II boxter S twists I picked up before I sent them for powdercoat, lined up a few drilled and linered hockey pucks and am currently on the hunt for a 2nd hand R32 half height sump with a new pick up. Also going to sort out the ghetto centre box delete and remove the thrice fixed suitcase second box from the system during the week

that and fit my jobs in somewhere

future plans DO NOT amount to much though,I have no intention of painting the shell(which it needs)just going to have fun while the tags last, fit the boxsters, then these at some point

              got logged out
fitting these at some point(arnage T's)my friend has adaptors I can loan(BMW fitment)

and my brother has the porsche rims off his vento(jetta VR)for winter so ill 'borrow' his adaptors for the foreseeable for them hahaha

then come the end of the tags ill strip and put the engine in my ltp

Its a proven track record lmao,If anything I may get the mot(tags)renewed and run it another year as it is fairly solid its just the shell thats a bit banged up round the edges. Theres just something in my head about taking the vr from this coupe and putting it in my mk1 coupe

friend got a boxster S and upgraded to 19's,ummed and aaaah'd a biit but picked them up from him, stripped them, prepped them and got them coated in 'crude' black

tried them on yesterday after getting a stainless exhaust fitted hahaha

obviously still to ditch the koni adjustables and fit the new coils....

tried the bentleys on as well

                    sorry for the chtonic pictures

Im very fond off them.Very un-pc wheels it seems but I love the spoke poke that they have. Hoping to have the coils on before any wheel fittage though, seriously needs a good 2 inches+ out the ride height

                        and thank you

ill be waiting until I have it lowered before I put either on although ive got 7x16" KMC teardrops I might slip on in the mean time, the kmc's are 5x100 although they need drilled out to take the M14's.Both the other sets require adaptors which I can borrow off my mate as soon as I decide which set to run after I get the tyres
