Geez, that really brings a lump to the throat!! I had a silver 16v Corrado that looked so like that one - wish it had been the G60 as I might still have had it but there ya go! Still a lovely looking car - have you seen the new pics of the Iroc or the Eos? Still think the Corrado's a better looking car by far.....
It did, I always wanted the VR6 type wheels but it did look excellent in silver. To this date my wife still doesn't believe me that when I went to test drive it I didn't know about the spoiler.....<sigh> and this guy was telling me to put my foot down, etc...
I looked in the rear view mirror and thought 'F**k, the bloody boot's opening!?!?' at exactly the same time he explained about the spoiler. That was it from then on in - it was as good as sold!!
I know, it's mad but to date it's been the best car I've owned for handling! I had a new Golf Mk4 1.8T after that and although it was a good car you just couldn't chuck it into a corner as quickly. Mind you, I don't think I ever managed to get the back wheel airborne?!?!

I just tripped over your posting, my Little Beastie had to be calmed down after hearing what you wrote. Just to prove you wrong she covered at Xmas a trip to Dubbo and back at 9 kpl(alright,alright those CVWC guys a pretty good at their jobs) with no oil being used. HHMMPPFF!!!lol
