As many 1.8T owners know, the factory plastic thermostat housing is a common point of failure for the cooling system. This is largely due to constant heat cycling which causes the factory plastic to heat-harden, become brittle, and eventually warp or crack.
In-House engineered by ECS Tuning, we gladly introduce the Heavy Duty Cast Aluminum Housing. Aside from the obvious change in material, our cast alloy housing includes a larger bore for increased flow, and post machined mounting surfaces for optimum sealing capabilities.
