We don't know how you feel about it, but trusting your engine's most vital fluid to a plastic filter housing seems like a leap of faith. In fact, after repeated heat cycling and several oil changes performed with pliers and other makeshift tools, the original plastic filter housing body gets pretty ratty.

Why not install a smart looking billet aluminum housing and take the guesswork and risk out of filter changes. These durable aluminum housings come with the proper installation socket, and take readily available standard drain plug seals.
