Hey i am interested in getting a coilover thread repaired (stripped thread)
Am from VIC and new to the car scene, any suggestions on a good place to get a thread repaired?
Agree, any "real" machining shop, depending on the damage you could even try a thread file, most likely the best approach
Otherwise i would be worth talking to the motorsports shock guys
Toperformance, Vermont
Quadrent, Berwick
(They are Koni and Bilstien agents respectively, but will most likely do this sort of thing)
I would say Rick Kemp, but you will not get him, too busy, too good at chassis
Best bet would probably be Baker Bros, Huntingdale. Old school place, you can expect to get cancer from waling in the door, but Garry knows his stuff, be aware they are only open in the afternoons.
