Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

The new forum software is an upgraded version of what came before, it's mostly the same but also a little different. Hopefully easier to use and more stable than before. We are learning together here, so please be patient. If you have questions, please post them here. If you have worked something out and can provide an answer,

When I wanted to buy an Eibach pro kit I found it best to deal with Eibach direct.
The lady (can't remember her name) was very helpful and I had them the next day.
Just ring them on the number in the link below and they will help you out.

If you're not in a major hurry you can often save a few $ on ebay.de (you often won't pick this up in "normal" searches as the sites will be filtered out due to language).

I bought mine off an ebay.de seller and had no issues. Try these for example: Eibach Springs Pro-Kit Federn VW TIGUAN (5N_) 30/30mm Tieferlegung | eBay

        2017 Tiguan Sportline - Tigger73's 162TSI Sportline

        2016 Scirocco R, stage 1, 205kwaw (sold) - Tigger73's Scirocco R Build
        2013 Tiguan 155TSI, stage 1, 144kwaw (sold) - Tigger73's 155TSI Build
        2011 Tiguan 125TSI, Stage 2+, 152kwaw (sold)
        - Tigger73's 125TSI Build

OK sorry - I just searched for Eibach & Tiguan.

Main comment was that you can often find the Eibach springs cheaper in Germany. You'll have to search around for the lift kit if that's the ones you're after, as they are not as common.

I didn't realise Eibach made such a thing.
                    /searches catalogue... partno E30-85-020-02-22 ???? I think you'll find they are "buy-in" only.

H&R do a lift spring or

you could fit Spaccer spring spacers.

KYB do a heavy duty rear but I think it's OEM height & an increased spring rate.

You could also get custom springs made locally. K-Mac will do it however you want.

NB: if you go too high at the front (50mm +) the dampers will top out on sag. You'll also have problems getting enough negative camber. You can probably fix it with Audi TT control arms but be aware you are venturing onto the slippery slope of mods

Yeah o ly looking at 30mm max as this doesnt effect the cvs to much . H&r springs dont give the advertised height change and only 15mm at rear . . As for the spacers will check that out also ..

I also suggest you increase the tyre diameter to the maximum legal when you buy tyres - that will give an extra 7-10mm clearance.
