it would be achieved by extending the thread that gets wound down when lowering the vehicle, then increasing pressure on the spring. Or either cuting half to a coil out of the spring try jdm forum mate.
whoar! dont know about cutting a coil out! and also the tread on the coilovers stick out more than the shaft itself so i cant exactly make a extended thread because there isnt any metal to cut into
could there be an option to get custom springs made up?

Yes I don't see why not, coilovers are made with the strut and coil . By what I mean by thta they are made especially for eachother, I don't see why not you can't take it to a spring place and get new coils made up with the same spring rate just a smaller spring
just remove the small spring at the bottom... that way you get another inch of adjustment
its not doing anything now in your car because when the car is on the ground its fully compressed...so its just taking up ride height.
Stu
yeah your right, i went past a springworks place, he said the same thing, plus apparently the spring is around a 500kg one whereas he was reccomending a 280kg one
he said for me to try taking the catching spring out, as all it is there for is to hold the main spring in place while its off the ground, said it will drop another inch or so haha!
after this mission ill be almost touching cloth....
Yep, just remove helper springs. They're only there to keep the spring seated when jacking up the car. At my height, my helper springs don't do their job as the distance from the top spring seat to the adjustment collar exceeds the length of the main spring and helper spring hahaha. Just make sure when you lower it down back to earth again, you do it slowly and make sure the main spring seats properly.
won't you still have the issue of bottoming out your struts? You might have to run shorter struts and shorten your shock bodies.. I'm not sure without having a look.. But you might want to watch out for that.
You're going to have to dry sump the damn thing if you go any lower! Haha.
