RNS510 map update - help please..

Hi, I have a problem with map update on my 30GB RNS510 unit.

I successfully updated a firmware to 5274 and installed a CAN bus fix and Skoda fix. Everything works fine but map update..

So i tried to update it with DVD DL.. but my unit has a problem with that.

Then i used a map tool, SD and iso burned to CD. Installation works perfect cca 30 minutes then unit restarts but! maps didn´t copy to HDD (or something else..).. I tried to reinstall for like 6 times but unsuccessfully.

Is there a possibility that there´s no free space for maps? Can you guys help me?..

What size is your map partition?

i don´t know.. But it´s based on what firmware i´ve got, right? So i have 5274 from gpsunderground forum. It´s possible to change the partition size?

well and i have to say.. I´m from Europe, so my maps are around 6gb.

If its the default values then the map partition is ~7GB.
The sizes are only able to be changed by modifying the firmware load script files.
You can try using josi's HDD delete CD and then try again.
This will format the music and map partitions.
