    What size is the HDD?
If its a new unit that has been retrofitted then it should support SDXC.
Those micro adapters can sometimes be a bit hit and miss.
Have you tried a full size SDXC card?

Do what I said with the card and see what happens Ive got a couple of 64's and a 128 that all work when reformatted But you need that program to do it as Windoze wont format a card that big with FAT 32.

As Kamold said adapters can be suss.

Yes, Revision P installed on both my cars after purchase in the last two years.

Yes, both were retrofitted. I do not have any full size cards, but will see what I can do. I'll also try reformatting with the software recommended by @Hillbilly. However, I think what you meant to say is that the RNS-510 can be a bit fussy, as nothing else I own has a problem with the adapter or the cards.

Cards up to 32Gb are normally formattted as Fat32 Bigger capacity are either NTFS or Exfat and not all devices recognize them.

Depends on what you are using them in whether they will recognize them or not.
By changing the bigger ones to Fat32 they sometimes can be fooled into using the full capacity.

The difference between the two formats is that FAT32 only allows file sizes of up to 4GB and Exfat goes much higher

I understand that, but we are not meant to be fooling the RNS-510, because it is suppose to support higher capacities (or at least it is reported that it does). If the standard for SDXC cards is ExFAT, and if the RNS-510 is suppose to meet that standard, then it should be able to read ExFAT cards up to 2TB. I'll procure a high capacity full size SDXC card and see if that works, and if not, then I will try formatting it to FAT32. Failing that, I'll keep using Bluetooth.
