Hi Fellow VW Watercooled Enthusiasts,
As well as the full upgrade to Discover Pro with Apple Carplay and Android Auto as has been discussed here VW Central are also able to supply an upgrade from the standard 5.8 inch to the premium 8 inch screen. This includes a replacement of the control unit with one what has had component protection removed and is activated so that it will work with the new screen.
Optionally, the addition of DAB+ (digital radio) and LTE (wireless hotspot) functions are available with this upgrade.
