    Replacing RNS510 with Discover System

    Hi all,

    Just about to pick up a Scirocco R, MY15 - I almost went with the MY16 as I'd love an Android Auto enabled head unit, but the price savings + free leather tempted me back to an MY15 model.

    Just out of interest - is anyone else planning on getting it upgraded, and through whom? Are there any other hardware requirements that would make it too much hassle (eg, different reverse camera, or something else). The dealer stated they can't help me out with this.

      It's not an upgrade path unfortunately, the cars are totally different platforms.
      If you want Android Auto you'll have to look at supermarket systems like Pioneer etc.

        Perfect - was eyeing off one of the Pioneer systems. Thanks for the info!
