A couple of months ago I updated the FW for a mate at work to 4120 (that's all he wanted), and loaded an old POI file (before Retrofitters started managing the issue of the POI distribution). Card reader worked fine.
Move forward to last week, updated his firmware to 5238 - no problem. Map reload went fine. Went to reload the POI file, and now the SD card reader won't recognise the card. Says "SD/Card Read Error" or similar.
Tried another SD card with music on it.....nope. Won't even look at that either.
Surely both SD cards can't be a problem because they both work in 2 of my RNS units and an RCD510 unit. Any chance the SD Card reader could be rooted? Have tried "blowing" air into it to remove any dust etc. Thoughts? Ideas?
